Welcome to the PTA section.

The Ravensdale Nursery and Infant school PTA is a group of parents and staff who wishes to encourage closer links between home and school. Our PTA relies on a continual succession of parental involvement. Ravensdale’s PTA endeavour to establish a supportive and encouraging community for the entire school. By creating a network of like-minded people we can focus on our fundraising work using social functions to provide opportunities for parents, staff and pupils to get together and have some fun!

We aim to hold regular fundraising events, varying in size, throughout the school year. Occasions such as discos, movie nights, cake sales, fairs and many more. We always welcome new ideas, and new members to the team.

Money raised through PTA events is intended to supply Ravensdale with ‘extras’ not currently covered by the school’s main income. The fun things that make learning more interesting and exciting.

There are numerous ways in which you can assist the PTA here at Ravensdale, depending on the time and skills you can offer, i.e. designing posters, cleaning up after an event, baking a cake, taking payments at the school book fair, distributing tickets to events, or simply by turning up.
