All schools maintained by the local authority are required to:

• provide a minimum of 32.5 hours per week.  This includes the time in each day from the official start of the school day (i.e morning registration) to the official end to the compulsory school day (i.e the official home time).  The 32.5 hour minimum school week includes breaks and lunch times as well as teaching time.

School opens at 8.40am where we have a 10 minute settling in time. The Teachers or Teaching Assistants will greet your child at the classroom door, please pass on any quick messages at this point, particularly if someone else is collecting at the end of the day. Doors are closed at 8.50am when our school day begins. 

Anyone arriving after this time must take their child to the office and sign them in.

School finishes at 3.20pm where the children will exit from their classroom external door (where possible). Anyone arriving late to collect must go to the office and sign their child out.

School day times:

8.40am -  gates and doors open

8.50am - gates and doors are closed.

3.20pm - end of the school day. Please collect your child from their classroom.

This is a school day of 6 hours and 30 minutes which over the 5 day week is 32.5 hours.
